Unhappy gauge question

Im back again with the old 79 chevy c10 I filled up the tank in it and the fuel gauge is stuck at 1/8 of a tank which I beleive is from what gm is when its to the right its an open circut and all the way to the right its a faulty ground but the oil pressure and temp gauge stopped working at the same time and when I turn on my head lights the temp gauge shoots way up pegging out when I know the truck aint even close to over heating did the printed circut on the back of the cluster decide to go?

Re: gauge question

Check all the fuses first, make sure the connections on the cluster are good and you have a good ground in the circuit.

Re: gauge question

thanks maxwedge I will check that out but with the wind chill and the temps makes it almost impossible to do anything and I really appreciate all the help you have given me since I joined this forum
