E350 Brake Light Issue

Hi All

I'm dealing with a 2006 Ford E-350 XLT Superduty

Odd thing happening with my brake lights...

They do not come on when the brake is pressed. I have turn signals, Hazards, and tail lights when I pull on the head/tail lights. I have checked the brake switch at the pedal, and voltage is present where it should be.

Any ideas?

Thanks a bunch.

Re: E350 Brake Light Issue

It could possibly be in the multi-function switch. You might try flicking the turn signal lever up and down several times just for the heck of it to see if that helps.

I really hope someone else replies here, saying what they think.

OK. For what it's worth, I can shift in and out of park as normal... I had been told if you could not shift out of park, it would be one issue... if you could, it would be another issue. I'll go play with the MFS for a while and see what happens.

" I have checked the brake switch at the pedal, and voltage is present where it should be".
Does the switch pass voltage when the circuit is closed? Recheck switch then multi function switch.
