power?

A friend of mine has a 2000 Celica GT bone stock.

What can we get for power, nothing too nuts like an all trac swap or anything, no swaps. Anything besides the simple i/h/e?

Good turbo kits?

Nitrous(ugh)?

Simple styled stuff.

thanks.

nitrtous is one cheaper possibility for extra power.

forced induction, however, is the way to go. there is a supercharger kit that is supposed to be comming out but i think that SC's on i4 engines are stupid. go with the turbo xs turbo kit.

i heard with a turbo the max a 00+ celica can go is 15psi because the plastic in the engine bay will start to melt.

Antyoo: the plastic in the engine bay is removeable and it looks alot better with it removed anyways.

Turbo XS doesnt make a turbo for GT's yet only GT-S's at http://www.newcelica.org they have a good section in their forums on forced induction. and take out the engine bay plastic its really not needed.

and Blitz is for GT-S not GT

best Intake and Exhaust combo is the AEM intake and TRD Exhaust. the power curve and gains from that are better than the other combo's out there. the Kazuma exhaust by TRD gives out the most HP out of all the exhaust's. after you get a bolt on exhaust, get a header to muffler test pipe made of madrel bent stainless steal piping. you could do the pulley system, clutch, flywheel, alot of other stuff, just do some research on the big celica owner sites
