Imperial Blue for Focus WRC

I tried that Ford Imperial Blue, which goes on real car, on other model before I put it on my Focus WRC 01. How I see color is very close to the decals which came with kit. Only difference is that decals have shiner sparkles. My model don't have clear coat so it isn't so shine.

What you think?

Yes, it's airbrushed, and it's automotive color.

Beautiful colour, isn't it? Expect several models (several Fords, actually) from me in that colour!

Where did you get that color?

I was thinking of painting my Saleen in Testor's Anthracite Gray....but that blue is making me rethink it.

Zeljko, if it's not too much hassle, could you do a side-by-side comparison of Imperial blue and 222 from Humbrol? They seem to be very close...

The rather obvious answer is "from a paint shop".

Unfortunatelly no. No more hobby shops or resouces for that in my country. In Hungary, where I bought many things, shop si closed too.
All my resource for it will be internet now.

Ouch!!!

Ironically, my local hobby shop went out of business as well two weeks ago, though I'm not that sad as
a) they haven't catered for my needs for more than a year, and
b) that was not the way to run a business Though the military and aircraft guys are hit quite hard by this.

Fortunately, I have a very good supplier of Humbrol products at good prices.

I feel for you, man. This just sucks, doesn't it?

Yes. But on my luck I bought few color ofblack, sliver and white color, basic colors, so I will have it for some time.
But after that I will be in trouble to find even basic colors.

Hey Alex, get off you lazy back-end and spray-paint it yourself , take a pic and post it here, so we all can compare... Or do you happen to have the same problem as Zeljko...

In that case, I'll try and buy a cup of 222 over the weekend, spray it on spare car and post the picture. Just let me know. :
