Have a 93 stock Del-Sol. Sat out in rain for several days and now wont start. Turns over just fine but will not fire. I had this problem once before and after it sat in the sun for a wile it started.
Anyone have any sugestions. My guess is a wet sensor somewhere. Any help would be great...thanks |

I am now thinking it may be the main relay.
Does anyone know the best way to access it and test. ? Thanks |

Check the most obvious things first, then go to the bigger stuff. Check for gas.. silly sounding, but you'd be surprised. Did the engine itself actually get wet? Like the distributor cap? Are you sure it's not something that has been wrong and would be wrong whether or not it rained? Sols are moody creatures.

Here is the fastest way to check the relay. Turn the ignition on but don't try yo start it, watch the check engine lite when the check engine lite goes out you will hear a click thats the relay shutting off you should also be able to hear the pump running since the access panel is behind the seats. |
