Raw fuel out exhaust

Hello everyone.. I'm a newbe here and hope some of you experts on this site could help me out with this problem I have with my 1994 Dodge RAM 1500 5.9 liter 4x4. I have raw fuel coming out of the passenger side exhaust. This truck has duel exhaust so we track it down to # 8,6,4,2 cylinders. This truck has been ran with the # 4 injector wire off for sometime and just now found it off. Truck was running ruff at low idle so installed new plugs and wires and was going to clean injectors and found the wire off. Repaired the wire and plug it back in to the #4 injector and now I'm getting lots of grey smoke and raw fuel out the exhaust. Removed injector for inspection and it is not stuck open and works fine. Pulled the plugs on #4 and is was soaked. Checked the fire on that cylinder and it is good. Truck runs good at high rpms going down the road but I did noticed it is running a little hotter than normal. This one got me stumped. Thanks in advance... Ramrod

Just a guess. Might be gas soaked. Have you checked your oil and see if it's more gas than oil? If you been pumping gas into a cylinder that wasn't igniting.

Re: Raw fuel out exhaust

I have checked the oil for gas smell and it has a little put not bad. The oil level shows a half quart low and hasn't change since we been working on it. We are getting 2.4 to 3 volts to #8 6 4 but # 2 we are getting 4 volts. Leaning more to computer problem. If anyone has A better idea than me, please let me know.. Thanks

Re: Raw fuel out exhaust

I thought this site had a bunch of members. When I first found this site it had this huge number at the top of the page of how many they had. "HAD" is the word to use. Some of these threads are as old as dirt. Went to the chat room and all they were doing was telling bed time story's. I had one person that post a good reply ( thanks) about the problem I was having and hardly any views on the subject. I think I will look for another site that likes to help

You obviously have a leaking injector. Pull this sides 4 spark plugs the ones with soot covering the tips I would replace the injectors. Without the proper tools its hard to inspect injectors.
Check your fuel pressure regulator if gas is in the vacuum hose replace.
Check your timing.
You have to have compression to fire. If real low recheck with some oil the gas may have washed the piston.
