clear tubing for car engine

I uderstand that kynar wire can be used for detailing car engines but what should I look out for if I want the clear tubing that gets used.

I understand the sleeve can be slid off wure for ghe black tubing but what wire type is best, basicly if I ordered mfh, top studio etc wire or tubing what exactly is it.

u think kynar us a bit stiff but its been ages since I handled any and have none knocking round my place.

tips for wire types, guages would be great and helpfull.

I've used clear beading wire that can be found in most hobby-jewelry places. The wires are solid, not tube, but they can be used to simulate fuel injection lines and such. Because they have no metal wire to maintain their shape after they are bent they can be a bit hard to look natural, but they are cheap to buy so it's worth looking into.

I also am using solid beading cord right now for fuel injection lines. The stuff I use is called Stretch Magic and most craft stores like Michael's have it. It's stretchy like a rubber band but easier than fishing line to bend and bundle. The stuff I use for 1/24th is the 0.5mm clear. The Hiro 917LH includes white insulated wire for the injector lines and I plan to use Stretch Magic instead because its a translucent white that looks far more convincing. I didn't realize it until I found this link but they also have it in larger sizes and different colors too. I might try the black for ignition leads.

I like fishing nylon, they have some great green transparent colour that is great for fuel lines.
