89 integra, engine's bottom end.
Hey what are the bottom ends on the (stock) 89 integra LS good for? How many RPM can they handle (as stock)?
Thanks |

Anyway, the redline on a D16A1 is 7K RPM, fuel cutoff is 7500. Depending on how many miles are on it I woudn't take it that high. Keep it below 7K. |

yeah redline stars at 7k, and no I don't ever take it past that (car has 160k miles on it). I'm really only wondering if (and only if) I changed some stuff out on that engine - valve springs, valves, forged pistons.... - if the bottom end could take 8k - 8.5k rpm for like a quick second (no way in hell I'd drive it for an extended period of time at even 6.5k).
Anyone very tested it ? But on the fuel cutoff note, how can you change that? |
