98 Bravada SmartTrak problem

Greetings! Trying to get out of the blacktop driveway in 6" of snow in Indiana today, and got her stuck. It seems the fuse for the AWD was blown. I changed the 20A fuse and got the telltale dash light back on the dash, then spun the tires to try to get it to move, nothing happened, but found the fuse was blown again. Where do I start to troubleshoot this problem? (when the weather improves) This vehicle lives outside 24-7. Thanks in advance for any and all advice. ColdOlds
