Question Need Help with interior/instrument Lights

I have an 87 325 E the instrument lights havent worked since I got the car the signal lights, high beam indicator, and idiot lights all work but none of the interior lights. I dont have any manuals or anything so if anyone has any suggestions PLEASE HELP. Thank You in advance

start with the obvious check the fuses, then check for voltage at the lights, then check grounds. To really troubleshoot the problem you will need a manual.
