Re: Slave cylinder bleeding problem

Fill the master cylinder with brake fluid and leave the cap off so you don't create a vacuum lock. Open the bleeder screw on the slave cylinder and just let it gravity bleed. Don't let the master cylinder go empty of brake fluid during this process. You are aware of the rubber cup under the cap of the master cylinder lid, that must be removed before filling the master cylinder with brake fluid??

Lol yes I'm aware thanks, yes I tried that with half a little of brake fluid. I'll try again maybe it just takes more time. I'm wondering if I should pull the bleeder right out?

I would just make sure the bleeder valve is not plugged with dirt. I have no idea what you just replaced, if anything.

I haven't tried this method but a friend used this method to bleed his brakes. He had the vehicle on jack stands and put a pan under each bleeder he said it took four hours.
Other wise if your car is on jack stands one man on the bleeder and another in the car.
With the clutch master full of brake fluid pump until you have some resistance open the bleeder. Then if you get fluid go back to the gravity bleed. Or keep going until you get a full clutch pedal allow at least 1/2 hour.
If your parts were new I doubt you allowed enough time.

I have found a crack in the firewall on other Mfg. cars which you can get some angle iron at home depot. Find some predrilled on one side. You can drill through from the inside and use a bolt and washers. After one is attached drill through from the out side and add another bolt and washers.
Manufacturers are reluctant to admit they made cheap vehicles.
