help on Rb25det guys!!!

Hey guys new to the boards here. I have a 1995 240sx.

I know someone who buys container full of clips every month. I asked him to pick me up a sr20det s13 redtop clip, which he did and it arrived this past Friday.

The guy i'm buying the clip from also got a mis-order of 3 extra clips .. 1 s14 front clip with a lsd diff ...
1 rb25det front clip ..
and a rb26dett swap in a box everything is there.

I think i want to pick up the rb25det since he is giving it to me dirt cheap, but i have no clue on how to do the swap. I know its almost a direct drop in if u have the front clip. But for the wiring ... how would i go about that ? I am a mechanic that deals with mostly honda motor swaps i want to get into the nissan cause thats where the real power houses are!

I went to a few forums but no one gave a real answer on how to do it cause most of them never did the swap, and the guys who did it only want money to give a helping hand.

I really want to do this swap if i get no help i will basicly learn to do it myself but i will take pictures and document everything i do so i can make a website on how to do swaps step by step with pictures, making it idiot proof for anyone!

So if anyone can show me how to do the wiring Thanks!!

it sounds like you know what you're doing.... the rb25det is def the way to go. the rb26dett would require too much modification for what its worth, and with the extra moneyou can make the rb25det a lot faster.

the wiring shouldnt be that impossible... but i'd take it to the wiring specialist to get it done. very few people have the rb25 in their 240s... it's a completely different caliber of swap. i'd say just have a pro do the wiring

I really don't want to pay anyone i just need some help.

Only way to learn is to do it urself but i do need a liitle help on the way.
I'm not the kind of person who will find out and keep it all to myself. I figured if i know how to do it i can teach everyone else and make it bigger and better for everyone.

that's your choice... you may never get it done if you do it yourself (im not sure how high your skillz go...)

i know for a fact no one here knows how to do it, and if they did, none of us here would attempt it. when you're working with a skyline engine there's just too much involved for us lightly modded 240 owners..

Hey there, I did the swap into my 89 240, just finished it up to find out the exhaust cam was bent and had taken out the head, crank angle sensor, CAS bracket, 2 camshaft bearing caps, 3 valves, 2 pistons and so on. I am getting a new engine under warranty in 4-6 WEEKS, doesn't this suck?....My point is I can help you a bit with the wiring, I did it all myself.

The wiring directions are for an RB20DET, I am not sure if they are the same for the RB25DET. They might be, but I have no experience with the RB20 to say for sure.
