98 lumina,(color blue)base model.
207,700 miles on it. drivers seat shot. today placed passenger side front seat into drivers position. feels great. closest junk yard match i can find is color "gray". is there some special way to remove the head restraint from my old drivers seat. i want to put it on the gray seat. also=- planning to try to install a pontiac vibe console i already have. will try to use the original lumina matching (blue)top on it . i,ve been spoiled. gotta have that arm rest. and if that don,t work , maybe a junkyard monte carlo console. |

Re: how to remove head restraint
There is usually a small hole in the trim ring at the base of the shaft that goes into the seat. A small tool is inserted into the hole when the headrest is all the way up to release each side of the headrest.
