These Plugs look okay?
Hey guys, This is out of my 1998 Olds Cutlass 3.1 L 253k mi. They are G power laser plat plugs. I probably should have gone with dbl plat, but o well. I think these have over 10k on them, maybe more actually. They are labeled 2 4 and 6 from the cyl they came out of, they are in line so.. You can see the numbers but just count down I guess. I couldnt get the plug wires off the back easily, so I just left them alone.
The number 6 smelled strongly of gas when I pulled it out. Dont know if its because I shut it down before it coudl spark or some other problem. Let me know what you guys think plz. electrode facing south: plugs numbered 6 4 2 left to right electrodes west from top to bottom 6 4 2 ![]() ![]()

Re: These Plugs look okay?
They look like the engine may be using some oil, but either way they are done, look at the center electrode, some are rounded off.
