Aoshima Lamborghini Murcielago SV - Pre-Production build

First of all, Sorry for the late posting everyone, I got this kit from Aoshima in Mid November 2013, I started the build in the next day and suppose to complete by mid December 2013. But due to my work I have very little time to work on it.

Finally now i can spare more time on my hobby again. ^_^


what I can say is the mold is excellence


the kit even provided parts if you prefer to use Photo-etched parts


the tire molding is also impressive, the mold line is inside unlike others in the market where it's harder to clean up. For this kit I just use a cutter to cut the excess mold line.


dry fitting, the overall shape is very good.

the body were sprayed with 3 layers of black, and then wet-sand with 4000 grid sand paper.


still, some areas "over-sanded" T_T


the interior is also an awesome work, it even comes with the seat belt buckle.

Aoshima is already planning on releasing the RSV GT1 racer. Check out the photos in Dec 22 blog post.

I'm guessing it'll be the JLOC livery, but I'm sure aftermarket will take care of FIA GT decals.

Thanks for the support guys, and yes, I'm d one chosen by Aoshima. I suppose to finish the build by mid Dec 2013, but I can't do that due to my busy year end work schedule.
Will try my best to complete by 15th Jan 2014.

here's some progress of the pass few days.


the door still have a visible "sink hole" after sanding with 6000 grid sand paper, and the sanding process even reveals the primer


The close-up pic of the "sink hole", it's more noticeable after i apply some chrome powder


My only choice is to sand it smooth and re-spray again
