ok I "cut" the damn sensor on my cat... I dont know if its an o2 sensor because I have one on my header... and then one on the Cat. Sooooo I cut them figuring i could connect them later. Well we put the whole exaust on.. my new one that is, and then I start it up and go down the road with it, turn around, and die. Now im not getting a spark or fuel to the engine.

I'm guessing that your Teg is a 96 or newer which means OBDII so what you cut in the cat is an O2 sensor. Did you reconnect the sensor? and plug it back in?

Yea its a 97 integra.. and we did hook it back up... 4 wires one white a green and 2 blacks that could possibly be crossed. and we switched those 2 up. I dont want to buy a new damn sensor.. those things are freakin expensive! Someone seems to think my sensor blew if we crossed the 2 blacks... but I dont know why...

Not sure but a blown o2 sensor may be the problem. I suggest hitting the junkyard and getting a new one.

Why did you cut the wires? You know there is a harness you can unplug and avoid that right? Try to find the wiring harness and unplug it and then get a new sensor and plug it in, don't cut any more wires if you are not sure about what your doing.

Well wait a minute. If he cut that wire, the second he fired the car up, the check engine light should have came on. He didn't say anything about that. Maybe he could have fried the ECU?
