i mean, id love it if my parents paid for all my shit, but my family has a hard enough time paying for a house and food for 2 kids (including me, and beleive me when i say i eat alot).

Sorry, but he keeps dissing up "single cam KA fags", and people who cant afford SR swaps. The fact is, everything has been handed to him on a silver platter, then he goes hating on the real enthusiats, who have shitty rusty 240s, KAs but are amazing drivers.

I live in a nieghobrhood that has a a really rich side, the middle class side, and a lower income side.

There guys west of me(lower income) have shit cars, but theyre fuckin fast, mostly 5.0s, some old ass BMWs, a few rotarys and even a Turbo Miata.

The rich kids have their Supras, 300ZX TTs, Benz(yes, Benz), and it angers me when they come fronting witht heir parent-bought cars with NOS(theyre only mod usually), and talk shit to my buddies

Then they get there ass beat...bot in racing, and in fist fights

That last paragraph could sound like jealously, but its not.

Most of the richer kids have broken homes, divorced parents or parents who dont give a fuck about them, so they buy them all that shit to compensate. I have a loving family, and a good home, so I have nothing to be jealous of.

alright, there are two sides to this fence.

i personally hate Ricky Chu. his car is nice, but he has no idea what he's doing and has it tuned kind of weird. with the parts he has on an S15 SR20, he could be making more power then he is.

he also did up his car like that, with a shitload of nice parts, and never EVER uses it at the track. i've heard of him drag racing once or twice, but come on. that car is made to be sideways, or at least be put in SCCA events or something, but no. the only "track" it sees is the concrete floor at the shows he goes to.

also, he calls it the "Kyosho S15". GET OVER YOURSELF!! it's a fucking S14. sure, it has S15 lights, and an S15 engine, but it's a FUCKING S14!!!!

he's a show-poser. i agree with mynismo, his car could be nice (with a different front bumper and someone with knowledge working the engine), but since he has it, it'll never be used for the right purpose. i would take it in a heartbeat too.

on the other hand, derek i do think you were a BIT harsh in your guest-book thing. there are ways to show someone up without swearing every second word. if he's the one calling people "KA fags", then you're only sinking to his level by using profanity back at him.

if i were to reply in that guestbook, i would simply say "i may be a KA fag, but at least my car knows what a race-track is."

I'm not a 240 hardcore like you guys, personally I like Rx-7's. And I don't know as much, about this guy or his car, as you do. I'm not saying I agree with your motives for writing that, but the comic value of what you wrote was undeniable. I think the finishing touch to that was the email address, priceless.

its up to him whether to put it to use or not

then what the fuck is the point? the SR20 wasn't made to sit on a show-floor, it was made to be USED! if he wanted a show car, then he should've bought a fucking Civic. you're not a poser because you don't have a shitload done to your car, and i think i heard you say you don't plan to do much more. but when you do up your car to look like a drift-car, with all drift-car parts, and then never use it to drift, you're a poser.

im not saying your not right (YOU PROLLY ARE!) but i think it's really up to the owner to do whatever he wants to it, besides making it look ugly with a fag, i mean fang body kit and altezzas.

be greatful ricki doesnt have altzzas or some "badass" kit, it looks like a very nice car. he def did not screw up the look like a lot of other guys do

I dont think using the parts makes you a poser its just he puts his car on the cover of the super street drift issue like its been winning D1s when it spends 95% of its time on the show floor.
