sponsor logos on alfa 179: which?

guys,

i'm looking for 4 sponsor logos as can be seen on side of alfa 179: the one next to the italian arcs, the two first from right, and the sabelt logo. Anyone who has name/picture/link?

Thank you
Wim

Not sure which you're looking for Wim on the lower band.

Looks to be, in order (including the obvious)

Magnetti Marelli, Champion, Sabelt, Scaini, Koni, Monfrini

The one in front of the Monfrini logo appears to be race specific and I can't find an image any clearer than yours. It wasn't on the car at the Italian GP from what I can tell.

I will keep looking into what the other logo is in front of the flag stripes unless somebody beats me to it.

Re: sponsor logos on alfa 179: which?

guys

thank you all for the input.

2 logos have been identified: autodelta sits next to the italian arcs, sabelt logo reads: britax, underneath.

I'm still looking for clear picture with logo's of:
1. monfrini. I see the special designed M, i see text: MONFRINI, but would like to know what text is underneath
Anybody know what: monfrini, was? Might help to look for logo if i knew what it was...
2. the logo on the right side of all panel logos

The tameo decal is tempting...

Re: sponsor logos on alfa 179: which?

hi,
made some progress, still looking for text on monfrini decal and look of 1st decal from right in row on side panel in pic as seen below

This is what i got...
Since next 3 pics were taken, italian colors switched on air intake, lower part of agip logo became white, and logos on nose were slightly adjusted in size (like they are in next 2 series)
giacomelli italian GP 1979

giacomelli & brambilla setups: nrs 35 & 36 in 'heavy white' design for nose section is also available
Note: side panel needs 8mm more height (thats why decals are too close to each other)

Watkins Glen giacomelli US GP 1979 (thx Mark for this valuable info)
Note: side panel needs 8mm more height (thats why decals are too close to each other)

When last bits of missing info is gathered, decal is off to printer...

Wim
