stillen/hotshot

stillen headers or hotshot ?

stillen= 15bhp
hotshot=12 bhp

any suggestions.

Some cars react differentyl to each mod. where did you get this info on the dyno tests. i really dont think that there would be 3 hp difference. I have heard that Stillens welds will break but i would trust the name cause of the more nissan driven research. Hot shots are more general that might be why it has less hp due to the less research. you can always just weld it back together. i guess pick your poison.

ok
both the webisites of the companies respectively say what bhp there stuff is gonna produce.
i asked to the stillen guy and accordin to him the sec pipe removing the cat gives some extra bhp.the hot shot doesnt.i have heard some weird stories abt the hot shot of breakin and stuff.
well (sr20 forver)dude .why ru so againt of stillen?
my muffler is from stillen and i have a 2.5 goin all the way to the cat.it has awesome quality and sound and top gain.well may be u have some reasons for hatin it.what?
im stillin askin u all for suggestion.

I've seen pics of the Stillen header and it looks like shit plain and simple. Spot welded, thin, and the guy said it didn't even fit right. I have also heard tons of claims of stillen parts not even fitting, such as flywheels, exhaust systems, etc. Hotshot has also stood by their product in EVERY story I've heard where someone had a complaint, I've never heard of Stillen backing their products. Also the stock secondary cat is a hi-flo, there's no need to remove it, all that does is make the exhaust dirtier and you definately won't pass emissions without it (if you even have emissions in your state).

If you want to go ahead and read this thread from people who actually have the Stillen header
