92' S15?

I bought a 92' jimmy s15 off my friend last week....It stopped showing everything on the digital dash except the MPH.......Now and than the rest of it light up so i know how much gas is in it etc,etc.......But than it will turn right back off except for the MPH....From what i can tell this is a wide known problem....I've seen people advertising to fix it so you don't have to buy a new digital dash, but never any replys from anyone to why, or what the problem is....Is there a way i can fix it myself, or should i just send it to someone to get it fixed........

You can send it to www.mrwhizzard.com and they will fix it for 125.00 or you can pull the cluster yourself and look at the main board... More than likely you have a cracked trace....Use a magnifying glass to go over the main circuit board... You will eventually find it... Simply touch it with a soldering iron and rejoin it and it will be fine...
