Question Replacing B16A3 with.........

I have a '94 Del Sol VTEC with the B16A3. I'm looking to build up a block to withstand turbo. Does anybody know if a B16A1 SIR II block would be compatable??? Or do I need a B16A3 block...... I guessing there may be cooling/plug issues but not sure.....any wisdom is appreciated!!!!

THANKS

Just get a 92-95 SiR B16A block, it is the same. Actually I have a friend that has(had) a B16A3 bare block, I can ask him if he still has it.

Block out of car being built = down time. Extra block being built = car running.
