LAFD, Sylmar, Engine E91
A fire engine. I will post a few progress photos then some finals. This was finished October 30th, 2013. It is a fire truck, E91, in Sylmar, California, down the street from where I live. It is a mixed media rendering that is about 95% created with Ad markers. I took the reference photo myself so the composition and concept is my own. I didn't begin taking photos of the progress until I had already mostly rendered the foreground LED light and chrome bezel (I decided to document the process after I had already started). But the rest of the journey is clearly documented step-by-step. Enjoy the process:

Wow, that is one sweet detail artwork! The chrome bezels and the LED light are really popping out of that fire red truck. Nice!
