91 gmc 5.7tbi 35o dies when givin fuel

I bought it for cheap because the previouse owner couldnt get it to run right. Now ive put new plugs, cap rotor, wires, fuel pump, fuel filter, map sensor, and tps sensor in it and i cant get it to run right either. It idels amazing when you open the throttle it advances a little and starts back firing. Open it further and it dies. I know if its running on ignition advancd it will only advance so far. any help would be greatly apprciated.

Sounds like could be low fuel pressure, maybe the regulator in the TBI is bad, try and check fp, need adapters to hook up at the fuel filter. Also see if you are losing spark to the plugs as it dies, ( 2 man job)

If you pulled the distributor it also may not be timed correctly.
