To keep or not to keep?
I have a 2001 VW bug with the 2.0l engine. It has around 175,000 miles on it. It runs and drives but needs some work. It's an automatic and has a sunroof. I'm debating keeping it and fixing it up to sell it later or just donating for a tax write off or something. I'd probably say that it is in fair condition right now according to KBB value guide. I see some of these selling on autotrader.com for around $3000 to $5000. So, in your opinion, should I keep it and fix it up to sell and make some money, or should I just give it up for a write off? This is also asuming that I have time and good amount of money to fix it up myself.
