TTT's New Rims & Tires

Well I chemically stripped and primed and painted (thanks Will!) my new stock steel rims (thanks Daisy!) black in the past few weeks and on Friday I got my new 32” KM’s (thanks Kirk!) mounted on them and had them put on my truck ...

BTW - My front Skid Row plate is missing because Kirk and I replaced my steering centerlink and tie rod ball joint assemblies, and installed my EOE tie rod adjusters and a Rancho steering stabilizer ... and I haven't put the SR plate back on yet.

Almost Done ...

Really cool spot about 15 mins. from our new house in Western MD ... not sure what it used to be, but it's big enough to put a plane in it and old enough to have been used in the early 1900's.

Sorry Schlud ...

I wish there was a way to put more than one pic in per post ... if you need me to delete any of these, just say so.

I knew I forgot to put something in there ...

Primed with 2 coats and painted with about 10 coats of Semi-Gloss Black Rustoleum. I put on 2 coats of paint per night for about a week.

The only tough part is using the chemical stripper ... old clothes, gloves, etc. That stuff is nasty if you get it on your skin or if you breathe it in. Other than that, wasn't too hard at all. Putting so many coats of paint on them gets a little boring but it's worth it if you want the blackout look.

Cool Wheels!

So those are just stock Steel XE wheels? Cheap and easy way to make "custom wheels"!

Cool Ride Mr T!

Does Coolerman have instructions with his kits that electrical novices can understand?

Thanks!

Indeed. I looked into the black Rockcrawler rims, but the offset and the cost and a couple other things made me keep re-thinking them ... then I was offered these stock rims for DIRT cheap so I couldn't pass them up. A little more work, but I like them a lot.

Thank you sir. Contact Coolerman ([email protected]) about instructions, as I was lucky enough to have him install both kits for me when he came to visit our area about a month ago. Thanks again Coolerman!
