You might want to practice your handbrushing

I recommend masking off areas if you're still learning.

Body looks gorgeous with that red.

I know, if you don't have something nice to say don't say anything at all.

I'll be quiet (crickets chirping)

Maybe if he/you did a nicer job he might get more interested.

I'd suggest buying a cheap testors/aztecairbrush. Easy to clean and gets the job done.

Because if you masked those seats and airbrushed the white/black it would look a lot cleaner.

It looks like there's a buble on the bm's front. It looks like it has acne.

Well for a first model looks great! (seriously)

You should've have seen my first model.

well heres some explainations guys....
The paint is Wallmart Enemal Spray, im not doing anything with brushes or air brushes.... just can sprays....
i dont wanna ruin it for my cusin by doing everything for him and making him go into perfections.... he'l will get into that himself in a couple models...
I have very limited supplies so im not even trying to think of doing the detail i get into on my other models....
and for the comments.. i dont really care what anyone says when i post MY OWN MODEL...
but since this is his first model so i think it will be better if he gets good feedback
it will get him to do more models
more updates coming very soon...
ohh and i guess i forgot to say this in the first post... the seats arnt done!!!
its gonna be a black/red scheme..... im just gonna mask off the black and paint the white part red.... should turn out good... hopefully wont bleed...
Goran
PS
my cuz's name is Steven

Looking nice for a first built-up model !

It's very good you teach other people how to make models!
Who knows we might get another pro-member i a few time!

I also like the idea of a red Z8 with a chromey stripe, too bad it ran,but that's not the most important thing, the most important thing is that you finish it , and that steven is proud of his model and lears a bit about modeling in general by making mistakes!
But in the whole, a nice shot! (thusfar)

Keep it up guys, and for the waxing, I don't really know ...

Good to see you are giving the modelling game a go and building a kit.
Got a bit of work to do but practice makes perfect.

Have a good read though all the FAQ on painting etc and dont be afraid to ask questions as we are all here to help out.

What i think you should do is get a good kit like a tamiya one, some tamiya spray cans and go from there.
Get the basic's right first before doing strips and fancy paint work as this will help you to become a better modeller.

A little rough around the edges, but it's nice to see you're giving it a go.

I agree with Pman, start off simple and get the basics right first. A word of advice, enamels are terrible for doing bodies. The best are Tamiya sprays as they are designed for that task. Alternatively, automotive spray paints are just as good, but make sure you do it and not your little cousin!
