Testing plug wires
Is there a way to test plug wires to see if they need replacing?

voltage meter.....the chilton manual has spec for testing plug wires

If you dont have a volt meter park you car in a garage and have some one rev your engine if you see your wires arcing they're bad. good to do this at night. Or check this individually pull them out and ground them.. to see if you even have spark.. volt meter is the best though

or just hook a timing light to each one at a time. if one is obviously flashin the light slower than the others, then its bad, or the spark plug is bad
