Doubt: CLK unknown
Does anybody know who make this kit? It's very similar to CLK from Tamiya.
Thanks.

Re: Doubt: CLK unknown
That box art is just the Tamiya box art with a different background photoshopped in....
They dont even try to make it look different. |

Re: Doubt: CLK unknown
It's got the wrong decal sheet too.
I once bought a 1/6 Harley Police bike, it was obviously a Knock-off of the Tamiya kit by a Korean company. It was quite tempting at about half the price of a Tamiya, and the Tamiya kit had been out of production for many years and was starting to get very pricey... this was back when ebay and most model websites were in their infancy. It LOOKED like a Tamiya kit, but that's where the similarities end. Nothing quite fit right and many parts were warped. Even the plastic the parts were molded in was brittle and oily, just not worth the perceived savings in the long run. Be warned. Regards, Dan
