Evo engine in the 95-99 GSX
i wuz thinkin, if it is possible to put an Evo7 or 8 engine the 95-99 Eclipse GSXs? One of my fwens said its not possible cuz if u look at the 99 GSX, it will fit but the Evo 7 or 8, but it would be to complicated, but give me some info if this is possible. Thankz

I'm sure anything is possible with enough money, LoL. But if you look at the engine shots. The engines are faced in different ways.

Silver_GTR34, next time you post please proofread. I think I understand what you are asking but I'm not sure. I will say this though, the only Evo engines that fit in DSM's are the Evo1-3. It's pretty much the exact same 6 bolt engine that came in the DSM except its got higher compression and higher flowing manifolds. All in all for the money it would cost for a swap, just rebuild your engine with forged internals-stronger and cheaper.
