how to discharge AC?
How do I discharge my ac. I need to discharge it before I do the R13 conversion. My ac feels like my heater. I had a guy tell me I need to just discharge it because the place where he works will cost like $50, then he said there was harldly any if any at all in my ac. So how can I discharge the few drops in there.

Discharge/Suction Service Valves Discharge and suction service valves allow the air conditioning system to be emptied and filled. These valves also provide places where the system can be checked with pressure gauges. Note: Some systems use a Schrader valve in place of the discharge and suction valves. This is a spring-loaded valve which looks rather like the valve in a tire.

WTF is R13 are you talking about 134a no R unless it a japan made can then it will have an "R" but that would be 134a "R". anyway if you are trying to convert your r12 system over to 134a you need to flush it and re charge the system with the oil and do a vacuum on the system before charging to get all the air out.

R = refrigerent.

Dont touch it or youll be like the kid in the Christmas Story that got his shit stuck to the pole. WTF am I saying, I took the a/c out of both of my Si's....WOOHOO, feel the power baby....hehehe
