Thumbs down Left the sunroof open....

i left it open by accident last night....when i woke up, i realized it was raining outside. I quickly ran outside n' noticed my sunroof was open!!!! Now i got rain all over the inside..fuck! i have a fucking puddle behind the driver seat. Will the rain fucking stink up my car? or should i try drying out the car? clean out the puddle with a towel? (that's what i'm doing now). i know i'm a dumbass for leaving the sunroof open, but it was an accident

if you dont want your car to smell like shit ... take all the carpet out and put that shit out in the sun for a while and get it real dry ... same with your seats. Then get as much water out of the inside as you can and park your car in the sun a while so that it will get anything you missed.

You will also need to clean your carpet because even if you just dry it it will usually still smell later.

My friend left the sunroof open on his integra one time so I know what a pain in the ass this is.

When I had small leak in my trunk I just took a shop vac and vacumed it and then left the trunk open to let the sun dry the rest out.

if its just rain water, pull your seats and your carpet out and let them dry in the sun...also dry out the bottom of the car underneath the carpet so your wiring doesnt get ruined as well....if it starts to stink use febreeze on it......

when i went to see my car yesterday i noticed that the carpet was moldy. I think they left the car door open when they ditched it. It was kinda weird I didn't think my carpet would be moldy just from rain.

when my trunk got water in it i just sprayed some carpet freshner like the stuff you use for the house when the pet takes a dump, let it air out for alittle bit, and then spray it again, it worked really good
