Which Messaging Service Do You Use?

Just wanted to find out what messaging service(s) everyone uses. I know that most use AIM, but there have to be others.
Post 1 (or more) reasons why you chose the one you did, or if you do not use any, post why.

If you use more than one, then vote for the one you like the most.

Im interested.

I voted for AIM, only cuz that was the first one I ever used. I also use Yahoo and I just downloaded right now ICQ. Never used it before but I will see what it yields. I don't care for anyone in particular, I just use the one that is mostly used everyone else.

Guilty. AIM monster here I'd have another instant messenging service but I've got my hands full between AIM, AF, and now GAF (Girls AF that is) More power to those of you who have decided not to conform!

AIM Monster ii reporting!

I have AOL at home, which obviously also does IM's. I use AIM Express at work...which really sucks cuz the only options are type n send It uses the internet browser so that there is nothing to download. We are on a network so under penalty of death we are not allowed to download anything that is an .exe or a million other types At least I still have a way of communicating....at least when the bosses aren't present

Well, when I first started doing tech support for MSN, I used the MSN messanger alot. Then, when I moved to AOL, I swithced to AIM. So, since then, my MSN has not been added to. I still use it, but everyone nowdays seems to be on AIM. I only really use ICQ to talk with FTP people.

But overall, I like the basic setup of MSN.

I've got both AIM and ICQ, but I tend to use AIM more as that is the one that most people seem to have.

ICQ was the first instant messaging service on the internet, i had it like 7 years ago (seriously!) 5-7 years atleast..... so when all the other ones started popping up copying ICQ i told myself i'd stick to the on that started it all..... and most of my friends are on ICQ anyway so i'm not gunna go to any other IM service, then again i probably will end up using another one too, sooner or later

I use ICQ, MSM and AIM and thats the order I got them.

MSM is nice and simple.
AIM I only got recently and am using it more than the others.
ICQ has most of my contacts on it.

I find ICQ more bother to open and run so I rarely bother. It also has a shit load of options that I'll never use.

I tried ICQ two different times now, and I don't like it at all. I must not get it.

AIM is fine by me.

I think I have Yahoo, but don't remember my info... oh, well!

Kinda sounds like most of my one night stands.

But back to the topic, I noticed that ICQ is insanely slow. I hope that this is just now and that it is actually faster than what I am seeing.
