motor swap

i am taking a 2000 ford taurus motor trans and sub frame and putting it in a 1996 ford taurus having problems with the two cams on the 2000 can any one help please

Are you using all the electronics from the 2000? I know you can't even put a 98/99 in a 96/97 or vice versa because of the differences in the duratec 2000 started an entire new series.
