Remote start

Hello I have a 2002 chevy trailblazer I just brought and discovered it has remote start by accident . I can not figure out how to work it all the time so can some one please help me.tell me how to start the truck up with the remote

It's not a GM system, GM is coming out with a remote starter system in the 2004 model on the Cav if I remember right.

Now for your problem try presing the lock and unlock buttons at the same time for a couple of seconds most remote starters work this way.

Just for your personal information I make a good living removing this pieces of crap remote starter because all they do is cause problems down the road. The butchers that install these systems cut, hack and ruin the wiring harnesses and later on the wires come loose and cause some weird things to happen. The first thing the owner comes is running to the dealer and telling us that there is something wrong with the truck since the remote starter has been it for a while and every single time it is the shoddy job of the aftermarket installers.

Sorry to rant but this is a sore subject with me. I have to prove the system is at fault and not the car or truck which wastes my time!
