Wheels' - 96 teg gsr

Hey guys. If you didnt see title im driving a 96 integra GS-R.

After driving with 17's and 205/40/17 rated tires for a week or so, I decided to go back to the stock 15's. In my area its just not really feasible to go for the 17's because of all the dips and bumps and stuff.

Therefore I want to get at least some 16's. I guess w/ the 96 I have to go 205/45/16. My dad tells me the ride will be much smoother w/ the 45/16's then with the 40/17's. This true?

Also, does anyone have any pictures of their ride with some 16's, and 205/45/16' tires. I'm planning on doing suspension soon.. so pictures of already dropped are fine as well.

Also, you guys have any recomendations for 16' teg wheels? The market isnt as nice as the 17's. I was thinking of some Motegi MR7's, RT5's or maybe even FF6's. I was also lookin into Konig Zeige's or Glides. Does anyone have any pictures of any of these wheels on a teg? In 16's primarily, but if you have those wheels in 17's thats cool as well. Any other wheel pictures / recomendations are fine as well.

Also, whats the deal with Motegi's and having to have a special installation kit- from 1010 tires:
Quote:
Please Note: These wheels require tuner style nuts/bolts and socket lug nus/bolts for installation. We offer an installation kit that contains nuts/bolts, hub rings and valve stems.
. Will the place i get my tires/wheels installed have these "tuner" bolts/nuts?

Thanks a lot-

Also, will 205/45/17''s work on a 96 GS-R?

I live in Alaska and thats the pot hole centrel I have 17's on my teg also. If you cannot stand the ride get some 16's but drop the car, try some Enkei's or 5z's or Motegi those are all nice brands

Yeah dude. I think 16's would be your best bet if you plan on lowering it. But why do you want to switch again? Is it cause of rubbing or rough ride? If it's because of rough ride don't lower it. That'll kill the ride quality no matter what wheel size. But I would say there wouldn't be too noticable of a difference in ride quality between the two sizes you mentioned. If I had the money to buy 16's, I would probably get Konig Helium Silver (mainly for the weight benifit), or maybe Enkei RSF-2.

A set of 16" Konig Heliums or Rota circuit eight's would be cool. I agree though on that there won't be much ride difference between the two tires.

Pretty light. According to a .pdf file I found they weigh somewhere between 15.5 and 16 lbs.

nevermind, didnt realize they were 500 EACH. Anyone know any similar wheels?

volk te37's. Well i've decided I want these, what size do i need if i want 16''s? They are light and look cool.

I see only white, and bronze/white. Is bronze/white silver or is it bronze. I'd like silver, but if bronze/white = bronze, than nah.

Does anyone have a picture of the silver ones? and a link to where i can get them? thanks. Also, what is the correct size i want for a GSR? thanks

Get the te37's in a 16". I think white wheels on a black cars looks sweet although bronze looks pretty badass, go for the bronze it's not such a in your face color.
