Thumbs up Waking Life

First off, Moderators please move this thread whereever it really belongs. Let me know where it ends up though, please.

Waking Life by: Richard Linklater

This is one hell of a film. I placed this thread in Philosophy originally here because this movie is one big parade of extremely interesting and complex theories about a myriad of subjects. Mostly they concern the evolution of man, social repression, political propaganda, and dreamers. Anybody who is a fan of deep philosophical conversation will like this film!

It was filmed with a digital camera and then "animated" over the original film. It is actually a process called "vectorization". For those of you who have never seen vectorization in motion, you should! If any of you have seen this great film post your comments about it here.

Considering the subject matter, no need to move the thread - it is in the right place

Though rightfully, it could be just as at home in the COMPLETELY off-topic forum.

I got it from blockbuster, though the one I got it at only had one DVD copy and no VHS. CDNOW.com has it for like 10 bucks or like 5 bucks USED plus shipping of course. Although I do recommend a view before a buy...some people will not like the preachish nature, and the very thin plot line.
