Aight you guys, time for another DIY-type question:
So I've got this muscle ca...err 92 DX Hatch, I get the two confused, and I wanna put power locks on the beast. I bought some actuators for the doors for like $40 but when I finally ripped the door apart I found the bar for the locks moves horizontally instead of vertically and it appears the actuator is designed for vertical movement. Anyone done power locks on their civic? How'd you do it? Side note: what would it take to get EX doors and fit them to my car and get the locks and windows working.... THANKS!

Hey there, I just did power door locks on my civic last week. You'll need 2 actuators, 2 SPDT Relays with 5 terminals, and a momentary switch in addition to enough wires to run everything. Yes, you can install actuators for a horizontal pull. If I get a chance, I'll try to get a picture of what mine look like. For now go to this site:
