Toyota Celica GT-4 WRC

Hello guys,

this is my new project. It's again a commissioned build for the same guy I build that Supra for.

Here are some pics of the real car:









I'll use the Tamiya kit and will use some Sikkens automotive paint (Ferrari Rosso Red).









I have to make my own bodykit from scracht cause the real car has a WRC bodykit. I used styrene, earsticks and Milliput to realise this job.










And some filler to check imperfections.





And finally Grey Primer (zero)




Hopefully I can paint it tomorrow.

The Rosso Red paint is on, and yesterday I clearcoated it with Sikkens 2K clear.








Meanwhile I also painted the engine parts and interior, so that's next to complete.

Nice work so far, Ive wanted to build one of these for a while now so good to see one being built.

I completed the interior. I kept it stock and simple using black and a custom mixed grey for the seats. I also used black interiorflocking.





I also painted and completed the enginebay.




The headlights needs to be installed on a separate frontbumper, but I already glued the bumper to the body so I had to glue them different.

Iceracer1, May I ask about the sikkens clear that you used? Was that applied via aerosol or by airbrush?

Off course. I used an airbrush.

Last days I did the final work on this car.

Frist I added all the lights and glasses. I also made a few foglights just like the real car has.



And I completed the chassis. I made a custom exhaust from aluminium tube. After all I wheatered it.





Meanwhile it's finished so I will upload the photos soon!
