Re: 2005 gmc envoy
Maybe a problem with master switch on driver door? There should be a wiring harness on hinge side of passenger door, probably has a protective rubber boot covering over the harness, Pull the boot back to access the wires, check the proper wire color for voltage and ground.
An example, check the voltage and ground for the power window. As far as your dash, what doesn't work? Sometimes when battery voltage is lost, it might cause problems for some systems? Just to add, you have a passenger side door module. The orange wire is voltage, hot all the time. Black wire is ground. There are also trouble codes listed for the windows--door locks and mirrors. Have the trouble codes checked, some of the national brand autostores might be able to check codes for you. Last edited by jdl; 11-03-2013 at 04:53 PM. Reason: spelling |

The only thing I can think of is to have the dealership reprogram the instrument cluster?
