Ferrari Modena etched challenge grill

Hello guys!
It seems much time have passed since my last visit here. I Was slightly busy.
Recently I have etched Ferrari Modena 360 challenge grill.

Here I cut out original tail part and replaced it with my grill. I must say it is tricky thing to bend cooper mesh in two directions. I have annealed the mesh, so it became almost black (like the real one) and soft enough to bend it around original part.

I have made 6 grilles: three of them of sheet cooper 0,15mm:

Mesh holes are about 0,3mm. Other three grilles made of sheet brass 0,3mm. Unfortunately these have no through openings because of the thicknes of material:

Can you tell me from the first pic. does it looks right?

Re: Ferrari Modena etched challenge grill

Thank you guys! Perhaps it needs some filing on edges, but this is far away project. I've made this grill together with parts for current truck projects.

2 GTV2000: No problem. I guess I need only one grill. I can sell the others. PM me.

Re: Ferrari Modena etched challenge grill

A little update. I guess this should be the right base to mount the mesh

I used sheet styrene ribs up & down to fix the grill firmly.

Don't pay attention to white strip behind the grill. It's a double side adhesive tape.
With unpainted tail lights

I still have some grills for trade.
