Black & Blue 2002 Suzuki Hayabusa
Hi everyone, finally got some time to finish and take some pics of my first bike. I really enjoyed building it. Paint and clear is from BASF original suzuki codes. Crazy modeller PE set and quiet a few T2M bolts and screws. Well from the beautiful Northwest coast of Puerto Rico here it is.

Re: Black & Blue 2002 Suzuki Hayabusa
wow Rick absolutely stunning
You and Steve have the best Busa's ever on this forum to date. I will have to go back and compare your bike with Steve's. I like that you chose other colors than Red and black It's hard to tell it from a real one in the beach photos I really like this one John |

Perfect! Looks very realistic. I don't believe it's a scale model.

Wow, you really hit the roof with this one Rick, it looks amazing..!!! Everything is spot on and I love the blue and black bodywork. Those pictures in the light box look like they are the real bike taken from some Suzuki brochure. Really nice photography. What's your next build going to be, this will take some topping for sure..!!!

Keys are from a generic 1/12 PE set I got from ebay years ago. As you can see below they are tiny, just sprayed tamiya metal primer, then masked for black paint. The smaller key was sprayed gloss black followed by alclad titanium gold. Printed a suzuki logo from the net in decal paper then covered with tamiya acrylic gloss clear. ![]() Key hole included ![]() regards Rick |
