anyone bought or heard feedback about these aftermarket chips? I see alot of them on Ebay and was thinking about buying one. Anyone who has mods and bought one, please let me know before I buy one.

..worthless on a honda... unless you've really really got some serious mods beyond basic bolt-ons.

Yeh its not really as Marked001 mentioned. It still wouldn't hurt to get one though. They help alot on the top end. I lost to fishcat by like a car and he kept pulling haha. We both have stock b16 crx. He has msd and cat back but not a big difference i'd say.

you'd have to be a freakin idiot to blow your motor that way, just cause the rev limiter is not on there doesnt mean you can go up too 9. common sense, you have to build it to get it there or your gonna fuck it up 100% guarantee. i hate when i hear stories but stupid dudes blowing there motor cause they were reving at 9000 on stock internals and stock valvetrain. stupid. but anyways i got my ecu chipped(pr3) and when i got it back i felt a difference, more air and fuel and vtec at 5000 makes a huge difference for me. i can defenitly feel a difference.

I was looking at the Apexi S-AFC, this should help me control the fuel air ratio. I ran 15.9 3 weeks ago and after installing msd, drag intake manifold and gsr throttle body, I ran 17.0, I was like wtf? A full second slower, anyone have any lighter fluid, I am fed up with this thing.

Well, for one.... I'm not an idiot. The main reason I did blow my motor is because the day before I removed my tach to swap in my autometer and just reved it too high by accident while racing a guy. I knew I fucked up as soon as I did it, but what are you gonna do?! I threw a rod. I guess I learned my lesson the hard way. I guess it's for the best now cuz I swapped out the B16 out for a GSR which has more torque and just feels better. Costly mistake, but I'm much happier w/ this motor. I don't take my motor up that far now and I'm going to take it to Eric's Racing (Eric Aguilar's Shop) and have my car Dyno'd and a chip made specific to my car's mods.

Does anyone know how to install these chips? I've heard about them, and I kinda want to get one, but I have no idea how to install them. And being as it is that your ecu runs your whole system, dont want to fuk that up.
