If I drop my 96 teg with stock 15s 2 inches, will 1.5 degree camber kit be enough or do I need something a little more serious.

More serious for what? Street driving? 1.5 is fine.

hey civicsiracer whats like the equillibrium point between good handling and wearing out tires too fast (the camber setting)

What about a 1.25 degree SPC front camber kit. My rear is an ingalls up to 3.0, so I should be ok. I ony drive around town mostly, I want normal tire wear. I saw a website saying, for 1 inch drop .8 camber, 2 inch 2.0 camber and for 3 inch drop, 3.8 degrees.

i think those measurements are close, i cant remember, but i read it somewhere and cant find the link...

If you are going to drop your car, you are going to take it to a shop unless you have your own. They are the professionals, with the exception of some following members on his board(who take their cars to the shop for lowering also). Ask the mechanics... since suspension is a very serious upgrade on your car, you might want to get different views... like going to a doctor

That was from an Ingalls or Eibach website. I believe theyre a pretty reliable source to get a general idea. But it sounds like everyones car is different, so that makes the general idea not so general. So yeah, my best bet would be to just take it down to the mechanic

Brand new the Azenis have 6-7mm of tread on them.

Last year I ran with a 2" drop 1.5 negative front camber and 2.2 rear camber 0 toe front and rear and my tires lasted 18 months that included 30 autocrosses, 2 track days, 30 laps around the mini Carlisle road course and 12,000 street miles on my Falken Azenis. Sold them last month with 2mm of tread left for $100.

Now I'm dropped 2.25" front and 2" rear, 3 degrees negative camber front and 1.8 negative camber rear, 0 toe front and rear and only have 3000 miles on my new tires about 5 autocrosses on them and they are down to 4mm of tread already. But these tires wear quick to a point then slow down for some reason.
