if i were doing dB drags, i would want the box to be as simple as possible to make air volume calculations easier. that's just me, but fiberglass just looks SO GOOD when done right.... (thinks about Alpine's 03 Civic Si).... mmmm....

thanks for the compliments, and yea my gf is doing good still has a broken ankle and should be able to start walking with her walking boot in about another month, she goes back in in about 4 months for more plastic surgery to her face to prevent scaring.........

now about the box, it is basically a caluculated enclosure even though it seems quit simple, but once the box is getting all possible db's out of it, i will then make it look good by carpeting it and maybe adding a few fiberglass side kicks on it to give it character.......

i have only had the car for about a month so i still have plenty of time before car audio nationals in november to get out of her what i need to..........plus i really want to rhino line the whole outside of the car. for 1 it will be different and i like that texture 2 it will be strong as a rock and 3 it will really help my accostics

what's rhino line

rhino lining is that paint that trucks use in there bed's to prevent scratches. it is basicially a paint that is strong as a rock.......they coated a cinder block and dropped it from 4 stories and the thing bounced, it didn't break or crack...........its strong shit, so it will keep my panels from flexing..........the paint shop said they would do it for about $600 so its cheaper than a new paintjob, plus it has a textured finished to give it character

There is a truck running around my town that was painted with black rhino lining. I would be interested to play with that stuff regarding acoustics... it never occurred to me to be used like that.
