They are sweet cars, I like it better then the new 350Z. The S2000 really has it's own look and one sweet powerband. Someday I think I'm gonna snag one when the price comes down. I have seen a few around $21K hummm gotta love 240+ N?A HP.

If you guys have the money get the S2K. No jk, it might be kinda slow off the line but after you pass the 7000 RPM get into second gear go all the way up to 9000 RPM shift, omg the best feeling in the world. Not even my supra gives me that kinda feeling. (maybe its because it can't rev up to 9000 RPM.)

actually Honda already released the S2000 type V in japan
here is a report i could scrounge up http://world.honda.com/news/2000/4000707.html i hear its better then the current S only for nonadvanced drivers, the new driving system if more for recreational drivers not for the ones that like to go out and smoke their tires and race all those other imports and domestics on the street. happy reading sorry i couldn't find a newer report

Re: 2 thumbs up to the s2000!

but overall the Z would kill the S2000. my Z is pushing 300 hp right now and a S2000 has 240 so stock for stock Z wins easily

Re: 2 thumbs up to the s2000!

Z pushes 280 horsepower. Yes its more than the s2000, but remember somthing that is very important.

WEIGHT.

Amen. Thats why they cant pull an inch on each other. 5.4 0-60 mph and 14.1 for both, although when they were comparing them car and driver said the s2000 zipped faster.

I still like the 350z. Great looking car. Although I have never heard one up close, all reports say the 350z has a great exhaust sound. That is one of the few disappointments I have with the S.
