integra gsr turbo ???

i have a gsr 95 all stock now but i want to redo everything. i was gonna lower the compression to 9:1 most likely and rebuild it with boring it to a 1.9 or 2.0 sleeving the block pistons rods. also port polish the head skunk2 turbo cams or something like them valve springs retainers everything. after that get it turbo charged but i was wondering which would be my best bet and where can i get them web sites and such also what kind of boost and hp gains will i be looking at cause i want to build me like a 400hp monster!!! also i was gonna put maybe h22 injectors on unless turbo kit comes with it. also if i do everything to the block and head will i be slower than stock with the low compression or faster without the turbo and the turbo cams yet. also after its turbo'd could i spray a 50 shot in there??? thanks for all the help

for 400hp do a complete reinforcing job plus the blueprinting and balancing......also yeah with lower compresion without the turbo you'll be slower

and yes you can do a 50 shot of N20.....it works very well with turbos...because of the intercooling effect and elminates turbo lag....but make sure in your tuning you compensate for that shot.....

also for that kind of boost make sure you have some very good engine management

about the h22 injectors i'm not sure if they'll be enough for 400+ Hp......injectors alone will not be enough anyway....you'll need some serious fuel system upgrades

First off, about the injectors:

Pounds of fuel per hour per injector =

expected bhp x 0.55
-----------------------
number of injectors

Use this calculation to find injector size. Buy the injectors one size larger than your calculations say you need.

Also, generally (not always) it is difficult to find a turbo cam that works better than the stock NA one. Honestly, in my experience, turbo cams don't really make a big difference.

i was thinking of doing all the things to the motor like boring sleeving port/polish blah blah blah but what if i kept the stock compression the 10 to 1 and turbo'd it with like a greddy or something cause you can stick it on there stock so it would be like stock with the compression but more power or will it blow??? i was also thinking that all i need is around 300 hp so if you guys could help me out and what to do to get there and with about 300 hp would that put me into the 13s??? should i go turbo or sc and suggestions??? im leaning to turbo more thanks

Personally, I am a big fan of turbochargers. In most cases it is better to cut the compression ratio and up the boost level, rather than running less boost on stock compression. This will net you more power. You may be able to put the kit on your engine, stock, you will still definately need some sort of fuel management. But in my opinion I would cut the compression ratio and up the boost level, 300hp isn't huge but it sure isn't small, and to get it you will need some fairly serious boost. And, yes, 300hp will probably put you around the 13's, I have seen high 12's in cars with less power. Don't take the easy way out, do it right and cut the compression ratio.

so all i would have to do is change the pistons to around 9:1 well if its torn apart anyway i will sleeve the block and put some je pistons in. also what would be the best kit out there that will give me good gains right out of the box i was looking at the greddy kit or drag 3 gen turbo but dont know what to get. i want to hit the 13 but want to be able to upgrade later on also to maybe hit 12 or faster to so if anyone has a gsr with turbo help me out and tell me there experience with the turbo good, bad, not worth the trouble so on thanks....
