Lightbulb Ford Transit Van And Trailer Finished... Full Story Pictures... (30)...

Hi,
Nice FORD TRANSIT years 80's..... ESCI 1/24.....

A nice new exhaust home made.... (first step).
Just to see the emplacement, nothing is glued.....

The complete exhaust paint with chrome spray....

Some holes were visible on the rear door....I puted some putty and sanded....

Just some primer on the all parts.....

I decided to add some carpet part on the cockpit....
it will be aged at the end.....

The frame just painted.....

The cockpit..... (not finished)....It's too new....

All interior, exterior and all parts were aged....with a drybrush....

Now, the FORD is alredy done......
Grey metalizer with some paints aged...... As this VAN was in the year 80's, it was evident that it couldn't painted with a nice paint....so i prefered to have a FORD dirty...... and aged....
BMF on thr side mirrors,
creation of a tow bar (for the trailer),
RIMS are from a VW SCIROCCO GTI RACING...... Lowering frame.....

Openening doors and rear.....
All materials to work.......inside the TRANSIT.....air wrench, air tank, toll box, car jack, fuel can, overflow can, driver, wheels......

Now, with a MERCEDES 500 SEC LORINSER (wheels 19'') and with a GOLF GTI also 19''.......

I hope that you like it and thanks for comments........
Laurent from FRANCE.....

But where are the hooligans? I was expecting soccer hooligans in a half-rotted Escort MkI!

It's great. Worn and tired just like a proper race hauler. I'm a little sketchy on the wheel & tire choice, but they work. (left lying around unattended at the track, right?)

Very well done. I wish that kit were still available.

I'm not too sure about how much those rear wheels stick out from the rear on the van. It should have some wider arches over them IMO.

Anyway, well executed.

I would have liked to have seen this kit set in a bank robbery diorama, hitting empty cardboard boxes and cases of old fruit as it tries to get away from a ford capri

Great work again Laurent.

holy shit!
Fantastic work, it's amazing to see you put it together so well, and really nice weathered!

Fabulous, but as did others, I don't really like the choice of the tyres, but that's just a minor detail, in the whole , it 's absolutely the nicest van I ve ever seen !
Ciao

Great work again Laurent.
yeah......when I saw the wheels at the trunk, I think it is a van used to rob car parts on the street......

Nice, Laurent! Have been awaiting your show for long time.
