Have you done crazy things to the COPS?

If you have, I wanna know about it. Let's see how creative y'all have been.

That's about all I have proof of. The rest of it? Well, you'd never believe me if I told you.

(I changed the marquee on the side of the car in an attempt to protect MY liability and THEIR embarrassment! Those letters are a jumble of what was originally there. Think you can guess what it said?

Let me tell you a brief story.

Up at Houghton at college (MTU) there are many bars downtown. Along with the bars are eateries that are open till the wee hours of the morning. Houghton is a very old town with buildings that are fifty to a hundred years old or more. Its also a northern Michigan town. That means its cold in the winter - freeze you ass of in a second kind of cold. Those two things mean that there are some businesses that do not have front windows and this includes the eateries.

So it was January. A couple buddies and I were down at one of the bars until closing. We stagger out. In front of one of the above mentioned eating locations was a state patrol car. It was running so it would stay warm. They were inside getting a bite to eat. We wanted a closer look. Opened the door.

At this point we decided it was warmer on the inside of the car and was a good place to hang out for a second. The next natural step was to take the cruiser for a (of course) cruise. We drove off and took a turn up (lots of hills in this small town) a side street which was a few blocks from home.

In about forty seconds we had gone from looking at the car, getting in and driving away to thinking - holy shit! What have we done! So, using that handy dandy alcohol that had gotten us this far, we decided we better stop the car and go home. We stepped out. I tossed the keys as far into the trees (and snow) as I could and we boogied for home.

Since none of us had (or have) a record, the prints I'm sure they took when they found the car don't show up on anything. It was 2:30 in the morning on a cold winter day so there was nobody out and about. And I can just bet that the cops spent a few minutes thinking up a story that wouldn't get them fired for what happened before calling in.

Its been 18 years since this happened so I am not worried about this somehow coming back to me.

Nothing really all that bad, just we got about 15-20 people to completely cover a patrol car in post-it notes, with everything from label parts to really funny things like Powered by Donuts, Fueled by Coffee, Haha have fun cleanin these off. I think that there was more then 300 of them on it.

Years ago, a buddy of mine and I were driving to the mall. On the way there, the clutch cable on my car snapped. Since it was 5pm on a Friday, no shop with the necessary parts was open.

A police car stopped by to help us. We hopped into the police car for a ride back home. The police officer asked us where we were headed and I said to the mall to get some money, but it wasn't necessary. He said that it wasn't a problem and he'd take us there.

As we passed through the city, we stopped at a traffic light. Two lanes over was another car with a younger girl in the passenger seat. She was looking around and spotted the two of us in the back of a marked police car.

I knew I was in the unique position of being in the back of a police car without having been arrested...but nobody knew this other than the three of us in the car. And my friend was not too comfortable there. I turned to my buddy and said, "watch this."

I looked over at the girl in the other car, smiled, and with my wrists together (as if I had handcuffs on), I waved.

She was shocked! Suddenly kids popped up from the back of her car to take a look at the "criminals" in the police car. It was such fun.

I remember once driving back to my parents house, its a 7 hour drive, and I was following this police 4wd. In the back were two guys in cuffs and they saw me and my lil car and started mouthing obscenities at me, so wwhile driving along I'd steer with my knees and show them that my wrists could be moved apart, of course causing them to scream and swear at me, and then the cops would abuse them. Funny thing is the cops saw what I was doing and just laughed their asses off! Especially when I'd move my wrists apart and stick my finger up at the crims..

on my March Break trip, after a rousting night at the bar, we were all out front of the bar, drunk as all hell, waiting for the shuttle bus back to the hotel to show up. as drunk as we were, we had no insecurity what-so-ever, and started a little game. since, earlier in the night, we had met someone from Ottawa named Marc, and my friend's name is Mark, we referred to them throughout the week as "Marc with a C" or "Mark with a K". so, drunk as we were that night, Marc with a C showed up outside of the bar, and all of us said "HEEEY MARC WITH A C!!" at the same time, and he replied back to me "HEEEY, BRIAN WITH A B!!!"which started a chain reaction. so, after that, we would go up to whatever person was near us, ask their name, and shout out at the top of our lungs "KATE WITH A K!!! HEEEEEEEY!" or "TOM WITH A T!!!" etc. so of course, there was a police officer standing watch over all of us drunkards on the sidewalk, making sure none of us got into any mischief, and we decided it was his turn. me and Mark with a K walked up to him, and asked him his name. by this point, our game had attracted the attention of all the other liquored up teens waiting for their buses along with us, so it was a big opening with me and Mark in the middle with the cop. we ask him his name, and he says "Jacques". we both look at each other, and shout "JACQUES WITH A..." at which point i turn to the cop and say "hey man, how the fuck do you spell Jacques?" the crowd erupted with laughter, along with the cop, who patted me on the back.

then there was the other night that week, drunk again after the bar and waiting outside for our hour-late shuttle bus, waiting, without jackets, in the sub-zero Quebec City weather. a cop car drove by, so we walked into the street to stop him, and tried for 15 unsuccessful minutes to get him to give us a ride to the hotel.

NinjaPoweredAccord: I watched a kid do this in May. Superdrunk kinda heavyset guy climbed up the back of the car, stepped over the lightbar, and JUMPED on the hood--newspapers said he dented it... I don't doubt it. He then kinda rolled onto the ground b/c he didn't have enough balance to jump off the hood. It was insane.

As for me, I don't F with the P. I try to stay as FAR AWAY as possible and just behave my lil tail when need be.

Wow, I have no doubt that he dented it. I, unfortunately, know full well that it's easy to dent a car hood. The brighter side is that I knew the cop whose car I have ascended, and, had he known I was doing it at the time, he would have just laughed and told me to come down. It also helps that I wasn't drunk.
