pull your ebrake all the way and then gun it, or put your left foot on the brake and you right on the gas, rev it up and let off the brake.

bot those are good ideas but what i found to work best in my girlfriends cavy is to have it in reverse then shift strait to foward and before the car automaticaly shifts floor it. and if you want to put on a show and have alot of smoke bring some bleach in a spray bottle and spray down the tires before you do a burn out.

a "neutral drop" is when you have a car with an auto, rev it up in neutral, and drop the shifter into drive. Tremendous stress on the tranny and its components. my cousin did that a few times with her grand am, i changed the tranny fluid a week later, it was as dark as engine oil with 5000 miles on it.

The best thing to do is not do burn outs in front wheel drive cars period. I have has soo many people bring me their cavaliers, grand am's, grand prix's wanting CV Joints replaced. The the labor on instaling them is not cheap. You will have more money in a fwd car if you mess something up than in a rwd car.
As for the reverse to drive theory...Do you have $450 to spend on new tranny?

Re: burn out

the best thing 2 do is pull the e-brake and floor it....keep it goin

your not gonna fuck up ur e-brake because its designed to hold your rear tires still....thats all it will b doin is holdin the back tires still while ur front tires are spinnin....good luck and if that doesnt work, drive off a cliff
