New Project: Porsche Boxter w GT3 Bodykit

This is my new project, a Tamiya 24249 Porsche Boxter Special with Porsche GT3 bodykit (e-parts). Everything fits so nicely except the side skirts. Need some modding here.

Here's mine, inspired by ZoomZoomMX-5's. I used a lower rear bumper from a Viper and am reshaping the section behind the rear wheels to match the side skirts. The wing is a modified Revell 911 piece.
It's a little over the top, but it's a concept.

Thumbs up Great project!

Good luck with it! Great minds think alike, the Boxster looks great with the GT3 bodywork and lowered suspension.

Not trying to steal your thunder, here's a couple pics of mine (started w/the regular-issue Boxster):

I don't personally like the spoiler but you've done a great job and the rest looks brilliant.

This how it looks like now. I´m not a fast builder, many projects rolling. I´m also putting a 1/16 RC Tiger 2 Tank together. This beast needs no body polishing huhh. Besides I think the rims in this kit has such a glossy chrome finish. It looks so toyish. So I´ll try to experiment with my airbrush to make it look real. A set of Porsche 19´´ Rüf rims would look nice, but that´s another story.
